Ground Fountain The Ground Fountain is 24" in diameter and 6" high. Shown above in white marble. Also included: our proprietary fountain system/Ground Fountain/parts list with a Cal pump, and two interchangeable brass nozzles. Basin net weight: 90 lbs. Gross shipping weight is 150 lbs. Available colors: white marble, and deep sea green marble. A 4" marble riser is available as an option, usually requested by owners of large and tall dogs.
Operating maintenance usually requires daily refilling with a garden hose when the basin should also be given a quick scrub. This procedure takes about 10 minutes. The basin and fountain system holds about 4 gallons of water. If a hose is not available, a watering can may be used to refill the fountain. For locations with pets, we recommend that the water be refilled daily with fresh water.
The Ground Fountain requires no cover in the winter. Snow and sleet are not a problem for our solid marble ornaments. Before winter, the fountain electrical system should be disconnected and the drain opened, and reconnected in the spring. This procedure takes a screwdriver and also about 15 minutes.
Installation requires digging a hole for the pump enclosure, access to a 115 volt GFIC-protected outlet, and lifting the basin in place. Comes with detailed instructions, including additional guidance by phone or e-mail. For further information, please see: Installation/Ground Fountain.
