Garden Bench. The solid marble Garden Bench has classical proportions and lines. The Garden Bench is 5' long. The seat is 20" wide and 19" high. The pedestal bases are 10" wide by 13" deep. Net weight is 310 lbs. Gross weight: 425 lbs. Shown in white marble. All edges are eased, smooth to the touch. Surfaces are finely honed/matte.

Installation: Requires 2 - 3 persons (each pedestal weighs 80 lbs, the seat is 150 lbs). Requires a 12" - 18" compacted gravel base or equivalent foundation, level surface. See: Installation/Moderate Weight Objects.

Maintenance: Rain (or a squirt from a garden hose) takes care of most dirt. For everything else, add a few drops of Dove or Ivory liquid soap to a pail of water and rub with a large sponge or scrub brush. Bird residue washes away with rain and leaves no permanent stain. Running water from a garden hose combined with a scrub brush will speed up the process. See: Maintenance.
